iCOPa (Intuitive Cardiac Organellar Protein atlas) knowledgebase is a bioinformatics platform, which provides uninterrupted support in characterizing proteomics data for biomedical scientists and clinical doctors. Proteomics data documents holistic protein profiles in a biological specimen, capturing an enormous amount of diagnostic signatures. Such analyses deliver personalized and traceable measurements of individual subjects. The successful application of this technology requires an efficient and reproducible translation of large datasets into biomedical indices and a robust mechanism of result delivery.
In a nutshell, iCOPa functions as an interpreter and dictionary to fulfill the aforementioned demands. It orchestrates and manages the transfer of large-scale proteomics dataset from laboratories to a centralized knowledgebase server, translating individual raw data, in the scale of multiple Giga-bytes in size, into an easily comprehensible report of biomedical phenotypes. Furthermore, iCOPa enables detailed review of these results via gestures and the gyroscope. This workflow ensures that standardized, consistent, and verifiable guidance will be disseminated to each user of iCOPa.
